I had a fantastic stay at a rustic guest farm bordering Swaziland. The setting was beautiful, with a monkey farm and plenty of animals to interact with. Elsie, the host, was incredibly helpful and the food was outstanding. The natural surroundings provided a relaxing and peaceful environment, perfect for escaping city life. Despite a few minor inconveniences like the road conditions and bed setup, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Emahlathini Guest Farm. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for a stopover or peaceful retreat.

The setting of this rustic guest farm was perfect for a romantic escape. We loved the stunning landscape and the opportunity to interact with the animals, especially the monkeys. The highlight was definitely the friendly and helpful host who made us feel at home. The self-catering unit was well-equipped, and the daily check-ins ensured we had everything we needed.
The road leading to the guest farm was difficult to navigate, and the stench during the breakfast ruined our experience. Although the meals offered were delicious, they were slightly overpriced.

We discovered a hidden location nestled between two majestic mountains. the peaceful lake nearby mirrored the serene surroundings. the rustic cabin we rented had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bed, but the lighting was too dim and the outside needed some cleaning up. Elsie, the friendly hostess, ensured that we had enough wood for the braai and helped us book a horseback riding tour. the children loved meeting the farm animals, especially Lulu the monkey.
The directions to the farm were confusing and we took a wrong turn.

One of the best things was the variety of animals kept on the farm. I got to see all kinds of creatures, from cows to pigs to chickens. It was nice to be around so many live animals, and it gave the place a certain charm. the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in process a breeze. They also gave me a good tour of the facilities.
The road was terrible and hot I can't recommend this hotel overall because of the terrible road to get there. It was bumpy and potholed, and it took me nearly an hour to traverse just a few miles.
